Asked whether the project was a success, Simon was in no doubt. "I was very confident of a positive outcome as soon as we had chosen MMCC, our project partners. The increased efficiencies and cost savings were better than even I expected."
Simon Lucas, Operations Director, Kwik Fit
ES Pipelines
ES Pipelines Ltd is a gas transportation business; in 2005 we bought the business of one of our major competitors. As part of this purchase we inherited an SQL database which we had no resource to support internally. We called upon MMCC for assistance and entered into a support contract with them.
They were able to help us troubleshoot problems and resolve difficulties as they arose. Their approach was professional and courteous at all times.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them to potential clients.
Vicki Spiers, Business Operations Director, ES Pipelines
Intellekt
Software specialist MMCC Consultants has developed a new mobile data capture and reporting application for leading brand and intellectual property consultancy Intellekt Ltd. The company helps protect famous brands in the FMCG, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, printing consumables and automotive sectors.
Cris Steele, Intellectual Property Investigations Manager at Intellekt said, “The new system has really streamlined our operations. Until now our agents had to use electronic notebooks to record the information they gathered during their visits which were cumbersome and difficult to use discreetly on site. The new Intermec CN3 hand-held units are not only much more convenient, they allow our staff to transmit the information back to headquarters in real-time. MMCC was able to make the application fully compatible with our existing IT, so we avoided the expense and trouble of upgrading the whole system. They kept us fully informed about how the project was progressing and the work was completed on time.”
Cris Steele, Intellectual Property Investigations Manager, Intellekt
Vacu-Lug
The staff from MMCC have been very responsive. I can't praise them enough. They communicate well, keep you informed and have made a number of suggestions that have brought significant benefit and value to the project.
I have been involved in a number of similar projects with other so called IT professionals over the last 14 years and I have to say MMCC have delivered above and beyond what is the norm.
The project is being delivered in stages and has been delivered both on time and to budget. We are now around 80% of the way through the project. That said, as a business we have identified some further work that will give us a number of USP's and therefore enable us to offer greater added value to our customers. We have therefore, without a doubt received value for money.
MMCC have responded well to all of our demands. MMCC identified issues early on and turned what could have been a negative scenario into a very positive experience. Their patience and professionalism got the most out of every member of our Internal Project Team. I can't thank them enough.
I'm delighted with what continues to be delivered and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use their services again.
Ian W. Woodfinden, Sales & Commercial Director, Vacu-Lug Tyres Ltd
ETA
The Environmental Transport Association (ETA), which claims to be the ‘world's only carbon neutral motoring organisation', has been providing an ethical alternative to other motoring organisations since 1990.
Andrew Davis commented, "We have had a very happy relationship with MMCC since we started working with the company two years ago both for ongoing maintenance of the system and during this major project. "Right from the start they worked with us to understand exactly what we want the system to do then make sure it works. We appreciate their expertise and commitment."
Andrew Davis, Managing Director, ETA
Fountain Forestry
Fountain Forestry needed to ensure that their systems work all the time- day and night - and to know that jobs had run successfully and detailed reports made of processes. Any data base issue had to be fixed without delay and routine health checks made. MMCC has been able to deliver these services with confidence and transparency, enabling us to provide the best service for our customers, knowing that we are supported 24/7.
Managing Director Fountain Forestry
National Portrait Gallery
The National Portrait Gallery needed to update its aging retail and stock management system. The gallery had been using an Aries retail system for several years but gradual changes in the retail operations of the three on-site shops meant that the old system was no longer adequate.
Louis Brady said, "Apart from compiling the draft specification document and recommending the best package, Mark acted as project manager and played an important role in pulling all the right people together to make things happen. This saved our IT department and others involved with the project a lot of time and kept everyone focused on the important issues."
Louis Brady, Head of IT, National Portrait Gallery
Lamite Ltd
When the directors of Lamite ltd were looking for the right team to offer support for their customers and time sensitive development, they had no hesitation in choosing MMCC Ltd.
“The people at MMCC offered a first class service, at the right price, and were understanding of our business needs. We needed time sensitive development, and a comprehensive support service, that offered satisfaction to our end users”
“We had a limited window of opportunity to set up and deliver a first class service to our client base, there was no room for error and expectations were high. The team at MMCC supplied first class service from scope to sign off. I would have no hesitation, in recommending them for development and support”
Peter Lambert Technical Director of Lamite ltd
